In addition, IBM Global Services Division will be providing service and support on products offered for DHS FirstSource.    Lenovo The third OEM partner in the FirstSource Alliance is Lenovo, an industry leader in desktop and notebook computer technology. Lenovo is widely recognized for research, development, and superior manufacturing practices. Important to DHS FirstSource is the recent establishment of Lenovo’s world-class Innovation Center in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. The Innovation Center offers our team the opportunity to collaborate in our efforts to provide DHS the best enterprise solutions. With Lenovo’s added expertise, our team is now stronger at the edge of the enterprise network and fully capable of supporting the user/client computing needs.

   CISCO Also joining the FirstSource Alliance is Cisco, the worldwide leader in networking. Cisco engineers have led in the innovation of Internet Protocol (IP)-based networking technologies, routing and switching, enterprise IP communications, optical networking, security, storage area networking, and wireless technologies. They have a deep footprint in enterprise networking from the core to the edge of the network. Most important, they provide our team with the evolutionary data communications products needed to meet DHS objectives under the Enterprise Architecture (EA). Cisco fits well with our complementary product strategy. Our team member IBM is also the world’s largest integrator/reseller of Cisco technology.
